The Whittington PS Junior School Council (JSC) is a student group that aims to understand the issues impacting on the students around the school, to problem solve solutions, act on ways to make our school better and develop a sense of pride in our school.
The JSC is made up of two representatives from each class, from prep to Year 6. JSC classroom reps discuss with their classes what they see as important issues in the school that affect them and then bring these issues to a JSC meeting. JSC news is shared to the school through two JSC Leaders.
The JSC at WPS assists students to take action and contribute new ideas and fundraising opportunities to keep the school safe and fun for all students.
